Digital Matte Painter @ RiseFX
I was responsible for creating many DMP environments, starting with concept development and refining them into final matte paintings using Photoshop and Nuke. I had the book with kid drawings as a reference for some of them. I also used Houdini for some layout, scale, and lighting checks.
For the oasis shot, I incorporated SpeedTree to generate the palm trees and simulate wind effects. I then took those and projected them on cards in nuke and correctly placed them in the shot.
